Exactly how customizable are these super berber mats?

Super Berber Entrance Mats are perhaps our most customizable mat in terms of size and shape. We can create virtually any design or layout needed. Whether it's an oversized get simple mat or a highly complex math with curves angles and the like, super berber mats are both an excellent choice for customization as well as their aggressive cleaning ability and great, long life.

Are there other options besides the black nosing on the side?

Although the black beveled edging around the perimeter helps finish off the mat, give it a little more weight and allow for its ADA compliance, there are other options. A medium brown colored nosing is also available though it can show scuff marks a little more easily. Also, instead of any type of attached edging, the sides of the mats can either be shaved, straight cut, or singed depending on the customer's preferences and usage.

I see you can do custom sizes and shapes. What about custom logo designs?

Where are your super berber floor mats produced?

All Super Berber Mats are manufactured here in the United States from American sourced raw components to help ensure the durability longevity and overall quality of this heavy duty entrance matting product.

How thick is a super berber floor mat?

Super Berber Mats are 7/16" thick (shy of 1/2" but greater than 3/8" thick).  The beveled edges slope down from the top surface of the mat down to the floor for a gradual transition on and off the matting.

How do I safely cut these mats around a security gate in our lobby?

We're happy to provide custom sized and shaped berber mats.  If, you just need to make a small cut or notch out a corner, however, it's easy to do yourself.  The easiest and cleanest way to cut a Super Berber mat is by using a utility (razor) knife with a sharp blade and (if you're making a straight cut then) a straight edge or ruler.  This will give you a clean cut without damage or deterioration.

Will either high heels or wheelchairs have problems moving across super berber entrance mats?

Not at all - An individual in a wheelchair (or even someone using a walker) can easily and safely traverse Super Berber mats without issue or impedance.  High heels won't get caught in the surface pattern and wheels can easily roll across the mat.

How far does the edging extend past the mat? Is this included in the overall size listed?

The heavy-duty black nosing around the perimeter extends approximately 2" from the berber matting on all sides and tapers down to the floor from the full height of the mat providing for an edging that meets ADA-Compliant guidelines.
