Grit Strip Aluminum Stair Treads are engineered for enhancing all types of existing stairs where improved slip-resistance and superior traction are a must. These metal stair treads address slippery concrete, wood and metal stairwells, especially when wet. Grit Strip Aluminum Stair Treads provide a quick, cost-effective alternative to renovating an existing set of stairs.
• Industrial-grade aluminum stair treads that offer superior slip resistance, unmatched durability and a conspicuous design which are perfect for heavily trafficked stairwells both indoors and outside.
• Diamond-tough, aluminum oxide abrasives bonded to polymeric binders and secured to heat-treated aluminum to produce the most aggressive all-weather metal step coverings.
• Manufactured with one or two contrasting colors on each tread.

By default these metal treads are produced without holes for installation with Neoprene Contact Cement or can be made with countersunk holes every ~12" for screw-down installations.
NOTE: Use leveling compound to fill in worn down steps before installing Grit Strip metal stair treads. When using on a wood finish, specify that the metal tread surface be sealed at the factory. Also, note that there is a 5-tread minimum for 96"+ wide treads.
