GritStrip Aluminum Stair Nosings are engineered specifically for restoring and modernizing all types of stairs as well as for new construction, by providing superior anti-skid protection on concrete, wood and metal stairways, especially in wet areas. GritStrip Aluminum Stair Nosings are a fast & economical option to removing and rebuilding worn down commercial staircases.
• These industrial-grade metal stair nosings offer unmatched slip resistance, unsurpassed durability and an eye-catching design and are ideal for the most heavily used in/outdoor stairways.
• Diamond hard, aluminum oxide abrasives are combined with polymeric binders and then securely bonded to heat-treated aluminum to form the most rugged metal step nosings.

Thickness: 1/4" thick throughout
Nose: 3/8" or 1-1/8" Tapered square design
Depths: 1-7/8", 3" and 4"
Federal Specs: RR-T-650E
Flame Spread Rating of 75 or less using ASTM-E-84 Test
Treads can be supplied with two countersunk holes every 12" for screwdown installation, or without holes for installation with Neoprene Contact Cement.
NOTE: Use leveling compound to fill worn steps before installing these GritStrip stair nosings. When using on wood, specify that these metal nosings should be sealed at the factory. Also, note that there is a 5-nosing minimum for 96"+ wide nosings.
