Can these ribbed mats be made in custom sizes?

Ribbed Entrance Mats can be manufactured in custom sizes with the finished product still having the black edging all around. Mats can be made from 2' x 1' up to 6' x 75' ft and just about any size in between. From the product page, custom sizes in 1 foot increments can easily be added to the cart for purchase. How do I cut the mats to fit the vestibule in our apartment building?

You can get a clean cut by using a utility (razor) knife with a sharp blade to cut through these rib pattern mats. Once cut, the mat will not unravel or deteriorate quickly but, of course, you will lose the black edging in the area where the mat is cut.

What's the best way to clean the ribbed entrance mat?

These ribbed doormats can be shaken out, swept or, most easily, cleaned with a vacuum. For mud or tougher stains, using a little dish soap and a hose will help remove just about anything. These mats cannot be cleaned in a washer and dryer.

I just installed new laminate wood floors. Are these mats safe to place on top? The laminate manufacturer was very particular about what type of matting can go on my new flooring.

Ribbed Entrance Mats have a safe, non-reactive vinyl backing that will not leach into your laminate floor. The mats are safe to use on virtually any surface including real wood, composite, LVT, vinyl, concrete, marble, terrazzo, etc.

How thick is this ribbed doormat?

At 1/4" thickness, Rib Entrance Mats should provide a safe cleaning surface with sufficient clearance for virtually all residential and commercial doorways.

We are thinking of using these ribbed mats in our facility where there are wheelchairs. Would there be any problem with using these floormats by the front door where wheelchairs traverse across?

Wheelchairs and walkers can easily move across these Ribbed Entrance Mats without issue. Wheels, canes and walkers will not get caught in the grooves. Even high heels are safe on this ribbed surface pattern.
