Anti-Static Desk Chair Mats

Our anti-static desk mats help protect users and sensitive electronic equipment (including computers, copiers, printers, servers, etc.) from electrical shocks that can be generated while seated at one's desk. Please note that these mats will NOT protect against a static discharge after walking around and then stepping on the chair mat; it will only help prevent charges from being built up initially while seated.

These durable, crystal clear desk chair mats won't chip or curl and are designed with a gripper backing to keep these desk mats in place on carpeted floors.

*LIFETIME WARRANTY on all Chair Mats against cracks due to normal wear and tear.

• Desk chair mats are 0.145" (145 mil or approx 1/7") thick.

• NOTE: A "lip" is defined as a protrusion or extension from the edge of the mat. The lip protects the floor under the desk where the chair may roll if scooted all the way in. Both pictures to the left have a lip.

• NOTE: Chair Mats with a lip are listed using the overall size of the mat including the lip; thus, the rectangular portion of the mat is smaller than the corresponding size listed.

Customer Questions & Answers

Can't find the answer you need? Ask a Question
Where are your chair mats made?
- Reginald V.

Our chair mats are manufactured here in the US and we use American-sourced raw materials for their production.

Do your mats ship flat?
- Sue W.

Great question!  For most orders, these mats are factory-heated, rolled up and conveniently packaged for shipment via UPS Ground.  For large quantity orders, the chair mats may be stacked flat on a wooden pallet, securely covered and shipped on an 18-wheeler freight truck.   For convenience, we try to ship via UPS whenever possible to make it easiest for the customer.  Once received, the mat can be removed from the box, the packaging discarded and the mat can then be unrolled.  In colder climates and for the thickest of mats it's helpful to allow the chair mat to acclimate to the warmer room temperature before unrolling.  The chair mat's natural state is flat; once unrolled, it will stay flat and not have any tendency to curl up.

Are custom desk chair mats available?
- Victor W.

Certainly!  We are able to produce a custom chair mat in virtually any size and any shape imaginable.  For anything more complicated than a rectangle with custom dimensions we'll provide an approval drawing for your review and acceptance before starting production.  Once approved, custom chairmats take just a few days to manufacture before shipping out.  You can check them out here: https://www.americanfloormats.com/custom-chair-mats-for-carpet/

What's the difference between beveled edges and a lip?
- Thomas H.

The entire outside edge of the chair mat has a bevel (ie, a slope) where the full thickness of the mat tapers down to provide a smooth, gradual transition between the carpet and the mat.  The lip, on the other hand, is the protrusion or tongue that sticks out from the base area of the mat and fits under the desk.  For desks that have a smaller opening (perhaps due to drawers on both sides) and in which the full width of the mat wouldn't fit, a chair mat with a lip allows for additional floor coverage when the chair is scooted all the way in.
