How thick is the Premium Carpet Entrance Mat?

Premium carpet mats have a total thickness (meaning the carpet surface and the rubber backing combined) of 3/8" (9mm). The black edging around the perimeter provides a more gradual transition on and off the mat. These mats are safe for use in all public locations and for those who use a wheelchair, a walker as well as those in high heels.

Did this mat stay in place on a hard floor? I want to make sure they don't slide and the elderly people that walk across feel safe.

Premium carpet entrance mats have a 100% nitrile rubber backing which will keep the mats firmly in place on any type of hard floor surface including wood, tile, LVT, ceramic, concrete, vinyl, marble, terrazzo, etc. Even on what days when a lot of moisture gets tracked inside or if anything is rolled across the mats like wheelchairs or hand carts, the mats will still grip the floor and stay put.

How can I clean these mats? We have a full service laundry department at our hospital. Can the mats be put in a commercial washer and dryer?

Vacuuming the mats will take care of virtually all of the day-to-day dirt, dust and debris that can collect on them. Should a deeper cleaning be required, premium carpet mats can also be hoes down or even power washed. For facilities that have the ability to clean mats in a washer and dryer, these mats can be laundered frequently and still provide many years of safe, effective use.

Would these carpeted mats hold up well and continue to lay flat if I only put them down when it's raining and roll the mats up and store them the rest of the time?

Thanks to the Nitrile rubber backing, these premium carpet mats can be rolled and unrolled and will continue to lay flat for years and years. Frequent handling will not shorten the life of these doormats.

Can I get these mats made in a custom size? I need a width and length not shown below.
